Episode 15: Thriving under Pressure with Catie Munnings, Professional Rally Driver & Red Bull Athlete
“I think before the event is often more important than the actual event. It’s the preparation. It’s what you do in the lead-up and it’s how you change the game in your head mentally.”
British Rally driver and Red Bull Athlete, Catie Munnings, is a talented rally driver with an interesting and fun story about how she got started in the sport. What really comes through in her interview is how hardworking and dedicated to the sport she is, even all the unglamorous parts of the job that take place outside of the car.
We talk about how to manage your mindset and give yourself tools to be successful, identifying what it is that sets you apart and will make you more attractive to sponsors and all about the upcoming Extreme E series (which is SO COOL - you have to check it out).
Catie has handled the pressure of being a young female in Rally with a ton of grace and she is clearly a powerhouse that you’ll want to keep your eye on.
