Episode 11: Behind the Scenes of being a Race Director and Founder with Pedro Vargas
“Some nights you don’t sleep well because things are not falling into place and you have race day in a week and you are still missing parts to the puzzle. But you stick with it because you love it and that makes it happen. It really is a love of motorsports. It’s done with the heart.”
Pedro Vargas is a motorsports visionary. Based in Baja California, Pedro is the founder and managing director of a few incredible events - the Transpeninsular Road Race, San Pedro Martir Hillclimb and Baja International Tourist Cup. Having been involved in racing since he was very young, Pedro has a lot of wisdom and his passion for racing comes through in all that he does. In this episode, we talk about how he got started racing and making the switch to becoming an organizer. We even get a taste of what he’s planning next.
